A Temporary Rest
The Pearl at Jamestown asks that you give yourself permission to rest. Being a caregiver for your aging loved one is a noble and admirable act – a labor of love. Respite Care offers a short-term reprieve from those duties, giving caregivers time to rejuvenate, while your family member is well taken care of. Respite Care is available for up to 60 continuous days to those who suffer from Alzheimer’s or the many forms of dementia, and is well fit for those recovering from surgery or a recent hospital stay. Our skilled and nurturing associates are on hand to facilitate recovery and offer assistance with:
- Bathing, Personal hygiene, Grooming
- Coordinating therapy, if needed
- Medication Management
- Modified or restricted diet plan

Our live, love, thrive philosophy doesn’t just apply to our residents. We encourage our staff and families of those we serve to develop themselves in the six dimensions of wellness, as well. Taking advantage of our short-term services can help to rejuvenate family caregivers and postpone out of home placements. When living with a loved one with memory loss, every day can be different.
