Meet Toni Edge

Executive Director – The Pearl at Eastside

Toni Edge joins The Pearl at Eastside as the Executive Director bringing 18 years of experience in Assisted Living Communities, serving in various roles. She began her career in 2001 as a CNA. Toni advanced to the role as Resident Care Director in 2003 and in 2007 began an Administrators in Training Program. Throughout the training program, she held positions in senior living such as Life Enrichment Director, Community Relations Director, Business Office Manager and, in 2008, obtained her South Carolina Community Residential Care Facility Administrator License. Since obtaining her license, Toni has been the Executive Director for two Assisted Living Communities in the Upstate Area of South Carolina. Toni has also experienced the construction of a new facility — from the pouring of the concrete, to moving the first resident into the completed community.

Toni has a passion working with residents who have Alzheimer’s and Dementia. She became a certified Dementia Practitioner in 2016. Edge began volunteering with the Greenville Chapter of the SC Alzheimer Association in 2010 as a Support Group Facilitator and held the role as the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Event Co-Chair in 2013 and 2014.

Toni is a native of Greenville, South Carolina, where she and her supportive husband Mark reside and enjoy spending time with their five adult children and four grandchildren.
